Whether you’re a regular practitioner or a beginner, this workshop will inspire you to dive deep into the internal parts of this practice. David will discuss the context, history, and core components of the Ashtanga practice. We’ll then do some exploration of each of these components in practice. Ashtanga yoga is a traditional system of hatha yoga that coordinates breathing and concentration practice with physical postures. This method uses a specific, therapeutic series of postures to impact strength, flexibility, and overall ease in mind and body.
